Sens. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Invoice Cassidy, R-La., each introduced that they’d vote to verify former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard to function Director of Nationwide Intelligence.
In a party-line vote on Monday, Murkowski, Cassidy, and the opposite Republican senators who voted opted to maneuver ahead with the affirmation course of by supporting cloture, whereas the members of the Senate Democratic caucus who voted opposed cloture.
